UNITY IN THE GOLD COUNTRY
VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION – UGC FACILITY SAFETY TEAM (3 PERSONS)
POSITION: UGC Facility Safety Team
PURPOSE: To review UGC facilities and programs with an eye toward fire safety, CAL-OSHA compliance, traffic flow and facility maintenance.
SCHEDULE: Conduct fire safety inspection twice annually or anytime as needed.
REPORTS TO: Building Maintenance Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Become knowledgeable about UGC as built construction plans, fire safety equipment and appropriate safety regulations.
2. Conduct at least twice annually tests and or inspections for building and fire safety using our insurance carrier’s format. Record recommendations and corrective actions taken.
3. At all times report safety observations to the Building Manager/Minister.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Desired is an active or retired fireman or police officer, safety consultant or building inspector. This team is composed of three persons. Accurate and complete record keeping is essential.
