VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION – UGC Facility Groundskeeper
POSITION: UGC Facility Groundskeeper
PURPOSE: To assist maintaining a pleasant landscaping atmosphere at Unity Spiritual Center.
SCHEDULE: As needed
REPORTS TO: Building Maintenance Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Become knowledgeable about plantings on the UGC grounds.
2. Routinely remove weed plants, tree debris and litter from UGC grounds.
3. Supervise the planting and maintenance of plantings approved by the Minister.
4. Knowledgable about sprinkler system and repair.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Ability to kneel, stoop and carry less than 20 pounds at a time.
Work outside in moderate temperatures. Knowledge of plant care.
